1What was going wrong

The problem

Bespoke tailoring is bought on trust. The customer is committing to a garment they cannot see, from a shop they have not visited, often while travelling through Bangkok.

Three things were working against the site. Nothing explained why a bespoke suit costs what it costs, so the price looked arbitrary rather than earned. The services that genuinely separate this shop from a walk-in tailor, hotel and airport pick-up, in-home fittings, worldwide shipping, were not visible where a visitor decides whether to enquire. And the enquiry route was wrong for the market: in Thailand this conversation happens on WhatsApp, not through a form nobody checks during shop hours.

In shortThe site had to do a showroom's job: prove the craft, justify the price, and start a conversation on the channel this customer already uses.

2The approach we took

What we did

We made WhatsApp the only next step. The header button, both hero buttons, the services section and the closing invitation all open the same chat. A visitor is never more than one tap from a real conversation, and the shop answers from the phone already on the counter.

To make the price make sense, the craft got its own section: eight stages from consultation and thirty-plus measurement points through fabric sourcing, pattern making, hand cutting, hand stitching, final fitting and delivery. That sequence does the persuading, so by the time price comes up the visitor has seen the labour behind it.

The four differentiators were pulled up near the top, because pick-up and in-home fitting are the reasons a travelling customer chooses this shop over the one beside their hotel. Built across eight pages on WordPress so the owner maintains it without a developer on retainer.

In shortOne next step everywhere. Every button on the site opens the same WhatsApp chat, and the eight-stage craft section earns the price before it is ever mentioned.

3What changed once it shipped

The outcome

The site now works the way the shop does in person: craft first, price explained, and an obvious way to start talking.

Every section ends in a WhatsApp conversation rather than a form submission, so enquiries land where the team already looks. The process page gives the shop something to point at when a customer asks why bespoke costs more than off the peg. Services, gallery and blog are all editable in house.

In shortEnquiries now land where the team already looks, and the shop can update services, gallery and blog without calling a developer.
